Intro

Welcome to project F1/10th, a 1/10th scale remote-controlled vehicle designed to concur with Baja-style terrain. MadMax RC, a division of MadMax Customs, set out to design and build the suspension and steering portion of the truck. This website will primarily cover the steering and suspension components of the truck. The drivetrain and suspension will be designed and created by Nathan Norby. Nate and Max joined to design and create the F1/10th to compete In the RC Baja competition at the end of their senior year.

Navigate through the tabs at the top of the page to see more of how the car was built.

1.1 Chosen design idea.

The trucks will utilize front twin I-beam arms with swing steering and rear 4-link. This was chosen for its ability to have long travel and maintain little to no bump steer.
